Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.
In a nutshell, R4 is like a start-up with guaranteed success. Equipped with a hands-on mentality, it significantly benefits from the support and tremendous growth of both Rheinmetall and 4iG. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- Management of projects for the introduction, maintenance and further development of applications in cooperation with our external suppliers and other IT departments
- Analyze, conceptualize, and implement IT applications and solutions in the area of Time Management and Access Management
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, interfaces and system integrations
- Proactively diagnose and resolve application issues and provide technical support to users
- Support for third-party software solutions for our business clients
- Preparation and consulting in the selection process of new software
- Central point of contact for all stakeholders with questions about our applications
- Coordination of external suppliers when implementing new business requirements
What you will need for successful work
- Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology, business administration or comparable training
- Comprehensive IT knowledge (in the areas of networks, databases, servers, interfaces) to be able to analyze and solve various complex issues
- Experience in managing projects and coordinating external service providers
- Great interest in setting up a professional in-house application-operation and project support
- Experience in one or more of the following applications: dormaKaba, Interflex, Siemens Siport, ATOSS, Primeon
- Methodical knowledge (ideally with certification) of ITIL desirable
- Structured, independent and solution-orientated way of working as well as communication and teamwork skills
- Good German, English and Hungarian skills, both written and spoken
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel occasionally
