Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike. In a nutshell, R4 is like a start-up with guaranteed success. Equipped with a hands-on mentality, it significantly benefits from the support and tremendous growth of both Rheinmetall and 4iG. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- Provide expert advice on software licenses, contracts, and software used by the company and clients.
- Offer licensing consultation related to software requests for projects.
- Manage software licensing in various IT domains, including digitalization, automation, training solutions, product selection, and more.
- Collaborate with software vendors, manufacturers, and partners to determine the best licensing solutions for the company and clients.
- Participate in audits and address identified issues.
- Optimize software and license management processes, propose consolidation, and implement measures to improve cost-effectiveness.
- Assist in IT cost planning and decision-making.
- Oversee server and client-side software license lifecycle management for the company and clients.
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date software catalog.
- Establish software standards and support the introduction and maintenance of these standards.
- Track changes to licensing terms and ensure compliance.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the IT License Management team.
- Ensure team performance through regular feedback and support company leadership in evaluating team member performance.
What you will need for successful work
- University degree (preferably in Economics, Engineering, IT, or related fields)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Expertise in software license management, IT systems, and related areas.
- Proficiency in English and / or German at a business level.
