Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of IT integration projects related to mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and carve-outs. This includes pre-assessment, initiation, due diligence, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive IT integration plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies, aligned with the overall M&A objectives.
- Collaborate closely with M&A deal teams, business stakeholders, IT leadership, and external partners to define IT integration requirements and ensure alignment.
- Oversee the assessment of target companies' IT infrastructure, applications, security posture, and data landscape to identify integration challenges and opportunities.
- Manage the migration and consolidation of IT systems, applications, and data, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Experience with enterprise IT environments, including systems like SAP, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), is a strong advantage.
- Drive the implementation of centralized, standardized IT processes and technologies across the integrated organization.
- Coordinate and manage third-party vendors and consultants involved in IT integration activities.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential opportunities, risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of IT integration programs.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of IT integration initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and security standards during the integration process.
- Contribute to the development of best practices and playbooks for IT M&A integration.
- Manage program budgets and track expenses effectively.
- Foster strong working relationships with IT teams and business units across different geographies and cultures.
What you will need for successful work
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT program management, with a significant focus on mergers and acquisitions.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex IT integration projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, data migration, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
- Experience working in a global and multicultural organization, with strong cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Experience with various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Familiarity with due diligence processes related to IT in M&A transactions.
- Good proficiency in English and in German (business level), both written and spoken
