Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- Holistic takeover (insourcing) of SAP application server operation and SAP Basis Administration from the current external service provider as well as responsibility for independent internal continuation
- Definition of future SAP application services (FMO) in close coordination with our business partners
- Standardization, harmonization and documentation of the SAP application landscape as well as its international coordination
- Implementation and support of application projects in the SAP Basis environment
- Coordination with the responsible internal IT teams for HW, OS, DB, VM, IAM, network, SAP/IT security and SAP authorizations
- Consulting and support of our business partners in the central and specialist departments of the company group as well as the subsidiaries
- Administration and overview of the overall area for which you are responsible with regard to the requirements for operation, user support, further development and projects
- Coordination of external service providers
What you will need for successful work
- Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology or business administration or comparable training
- Professional experience in the implementation and monitoring of SAP Basis system operations as well as SAP Basis administration
- Motivation to establish a professional in-house application operation and project support for SAP Basis in a dynamic environment
- Business fluent in English, written and spoken
- A distinctive initiative, affinity for technology, creativity as well as a team-oriented and self-reliant way of working complete your profile
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
