Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike. In a nutshell, R4 is like a start-up with guaranteed success. Equipped with a hands-on mentality, it significantly benefits from the support and tremendous growth of both Rheinmetall and 4iG. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- This is a great opportunity to become one of the first HaloITSM Senior Developers in Hungary: HaloITSM is growing exponentially in popularity and is already used by large multinational companies, such as Red Bull.
- Act as the technical and process authority on HaloITSM engagements with customers.
- Translate customer requirements into ITSM process designs, including incident, problem, change, service request, CMDB, SLAs, and workflows.
- Provide high‑level architectural guidance on how to structure HaloITSM to fit customer needs — modules, workflows, integrations, permissions, and reporting.
- Lead and support hands‑on implementation work where deeper configuration or development is needed, such as custom workflows, API integrations, scripting, and data migration.
- Advise customers directly — you will be in the room, or on the call, with client stakeholders, including client leadership, rather than only behind a ticket queue.
- Operate at the intersection of technical implementation and process consulting, going hands‑on wherever a project requires it — this is not a pure development role.
What you will need for successful work
- Willingness to learn HaloITSM in depth if not already experienced with it — training support is provided.
- Senior/architect‑level experience with ITSM tool development — HaloITSM or ServiceNow strongly preferred; equivalent experience with other major ITSM platforms (e.g. Jira Service Management, Ivanti, Cherwell) will also be considered.
- Proven ability to define and design ITSM processes yourself — not just configure a tool to a spec handed to you — covering incident/problem/change management, service catalogs, and SLA structures.
- Comfortable providing high‑level guidance and making architectural decisions.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customer stakeholders.
- Hands‑on technical ability: scripting (JavaScript, JSON, SQL, etc.), API/integration work, and data migration — able to go deep whenever a project needs it, not just strategize.
- English and German language skills (written and spoken)

What we are happy about
