Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defense and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- The Service Transition Specialist for IT Processes & Quality is a role focused on supporting the execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the service transition process. This position works closely with the service transition manager, team leads, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, adherence to standards, and successful delivery of process and quality objectives.
- 1. Process Execution & Monitoring:
- Coordinate alignment of service transition process dependencies, requirements and communications need.
- Support planning and coordination of service transition activities (incl. Release and Test Management).
- Support service readiness achievement and realization of transition milestones.
- 2. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of service transitions and monitor execution (e.g., release documentation and transition dashboard).
- Create reports on transition performance.
- Assist in preparing materials for internal reviews and overview across project, changes and releases.
- 3. Quality Assurance Support:
- Assist in the execution of quality assurance checks and reviews (Approval Board, Release Management Board).
- Track and document quality issues, helping to resolve discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Support training initiatives to promote adherence to quality standards.
- 4. Continuous Improvement:
- Track improvement initiatives within the organization in order to assure alignment with strategic objectives
- Gather feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization.
- Support the implementation of process changes and quality improvements.
What you will need for successful work
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience:
- 4-5 years in IT operations, process management, or quality assurance roles.
- Good understanding of IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and agile methods.
- Skills:
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Good understanding of IT process and quality management principles.
- Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and IT Service Management software (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills both in English and Hungarian
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Success Metrics
- Up-to-date and informative documentation of transition initiatives.
- Accurate and well-maintained process supporting documentation and reporting.
- Successful support in mediation and maintenance of the process requirements.
- Reduced process inefficiencies and improved stakeholder satisfaction.
