Rheinmetall 4iG Digital Services (R4) is a joint venture between Rheinmetall, a globally leading supplier of defence and automotive products, and 4iG, Hungary’s leading IT systems integrator. R4 has been founded end of 2022 with its headquarters in Budapest and the initial mission to provide project- and operations-related IT services to Rheinmetall’s local subsidiaries in Hungary and worldwide. Based on business requirements and opportunities, R4 plans to progressively expand the scope of its services for internal and external customers alike.

In order to achieve our common goals, we count on you
- A Team Lead of 10-15 colleagues to drive delivery and stable operations across the Manufacturing & Delivery Applications landscape (SAP SD, QM, PP, APO, IBP, WM, EWM).
- Ownership of end-to-end implementation and support for business-critical processes (Order-to-Cash, Planning, Production Execution, Quality, Warehouse).
- Strong coordination of incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Close partnership with business stakeholders to translate needs into clear functional and technical designs.
- Oversight of configuration, development and integrations to ensure reliable solutions and high-quality outcomes.
- Planning and coordination of change and release activities (transport management, versioning, release windows, rollback planning).
- Leadership of testing and go-live readiness (unit/integration/UAT, defect quality control, cutover and hypercare).
- Coordination of external vendors and ensuring delivery quality against agreed standards and acceptance criteria.
- Strong focus on documentation and knowledge management (runbooks, playbooks, interface and configuration documentation).
What you will need for successful work
- Successfully completed studies in the field of information technology, business administration or comparable training
- 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant position
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Proven experience leading delivery and/or application support within an SAP landscape, preferably in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics or warehouse domains
- Strong functional understanding and practical experience in several of the following SAP modules: SD, QM, PP, WM, EWM, APO, IBP
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications, and overseeing implementation (configuration, development, integration)
- Solid track record in incident and problem management for business-critical processes, including root-cause analysis and preventive actions
- Practical experience with change and release management (e.g., transport management, versioning, release windows, rollback planning) in an enterprise environment
- Ability to lead cutover and go-live activities (runbooks, dependencies, rehearsals, go-live checkpoints, hypercare)
- Strong documentation discipline (operational runbooks, troubleshooting playbooks, configuration and interface documentation)
- Vendor coordination experience with quality assurance focus (deliverables control, standards, acceptance criteria)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across IT and business teams
- Intercultural competence and willingness to travel
- Professional written and spoken English

What we are happy about
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations and/or EWM implementations or rollouts
- Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns (IDoc/EDI, RFC, APIs, SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI) and interface monitoring practices
- Exposure to test automation approaches for regression testing in SAP landscapes
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and tools (incident/problem/change processes, SLA/KPI tracking)
- Experience managing technical debt and stabilization backlogs using agile/lean ways of working
- SAP certifications in relevant modules (SD/QM/PP/EWM/IBP) or related process areas
- Understanding of security/authorization concepts in SAP (role design considerations, access request approvals, SoD awareness)
- Experience contributing to innovation initiatives, proof-of-concepts, or solution concept design in an enterprise setting
- German language skills are an advantage
